Thank you to all those who attended the Bibliophiles launch- canapés were eaten, wine consumed and much fun was had. Photos from the event can be found below.
We have now appointed our Secretary and Treasurer, Anne Welsh (UCL) and Daichi Ishikawa (QMUL) respectively, however we’re still looking for some more committee members- if you would like to be considered then please do let us know.
Our next event is on the 30th November 2016 and will be held in conjunction with the Cambridge Union of Bibliophiles at Peterhouse College, Cambridge. Please note, this event is for *current* University of London students and staff only, due to limited space at the Peterhouse meeting. Our next full society event will be the Christmas Party on the 13th, held in conjunction with the PLA.
On the 30th, the meeting will be held at 8:30pm, 4 St Peter’s Terrace, Trumpington Street, Cambridge but we will be meeting informally from 7pm onwards at The Mill. Please email: uolbibliophilessoc@gmail.com if you are joining us on the 30th, so that we have an idea of numbers.
