We’re honoured that Alison is speaking as part of the London Bibliophiles’ programme of events this year, as her research interests make her the perfect speaker for these ‘unprecedented times’! Alison currently works in policy but before this, she was a part-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant on Diseases of Modern Life at the University of Oxford. Her PhD thesis, which was also undertaken at Oxford, was about how medical practitioners constructed their professional identities through their writing in the Victorian period and she will be speaking to us about these topics in her lecture. And so without further ado… we will leave to enjoy Alison’s lecture. |
The live TwitterQ&A will then take place at 6pm this evening. We will be using the hashtag #LondonBibliophiles and so if you would like to pose a question, please direct it to both @LdnBibliophiles and @Alison_Moulds , using the hashtag above.
